T. Bruce Bowers and Tim Lesmeister

T. Bruce Bowers and Tim Lesmeister are fusing their musical talents at the Northwoods Blues Festival to showcase an eclectic mix of blues. This collaborative alliance will be cutting a wide swath through varied blues genres, performing original material that touches on traditional blues, folk blues, country blues and blues ballads. Bowers has performed with well-known musicians of many different styles, including the main stage at the Winnipeg Folk Festival with Queen Ida, Taj Mahal, the Dixie Dregs, Ed Bruce, Prudence Johnson, and Pat Donahue. Bruce is a founding member of the Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua Blue Canvas Orchestra and was bandleader from 1988 to 1994. Lesmeister was a founding member of The Riverbottom Ramblers bluegrass band, and toured the Midwest with this group until launching his solo career. Known as a prolific songwriter he currently performs his pop, rock, folk, country and blues songs in the United Kingdom, the Hawaiian Islands, Alaska and throughout the upper Midwest.
