Directions to Heartwood

From the Twin Cities & Central Minnesota

  1. Take I-35 North (towards Duluth)
  2. Exit at Hinckley, and turn right onto Highway 48 East
  3. When you enter WI, Highway 48 changes into Highway 77
  4. In Danbury turn left at the first stop sign (Hwy 77 East and Hwy 35 North join)
  5. About two miles North of Danbury, you’ll turn right to stay on Highway 77 East
  6. You will continue on Highway 77 for another 17 miles and come to Hoinville Road
  7. Turn right on Hoinville Road (you’ll see Heartwood sign and Soaring Eagle Lodge)
  8. Proceed 1.5 miles, following signs to registration

From Duluth/Superior

  1. From Superior go south on Highway 53 until you come to Highway 77 at Minong
  2. Turn right on Highway 77 West and go 9.5 miles
  3. Approximately ½ mile past the Chicog Fire Station you will turn left onto Hoinville Road
  4. Watch for the large sign and Welcome Center Building
  5. Proceed 1.5 miles, following signs to registration

From Eau Claire and areas south of Spooner, WI:

  1. Take Highway 53North until you come to Highway 77 at Minong
  2. Turn left on Highway 77 West and go 9.5 miles
  3. Approximately ½ mile past the Chicog Fire Station you will turn left onto Hoinville Road
  4. Watch for the large sign and Welcome Center Building
  5. Proceed 1.5 miles, following signs to registration
